Unlike all other 767 versions Delta has, there isn't a lavatory set near the over-wing exits (because they are near the 2nd set of doors).

*Note: This configuration is used inclusive on SEA-PVG, ATL-LOS. It also frequently works SEA-ATL to provide rotation. These aircraft do cover flights to Europe All 36J seats will be sold because it has a crew rest module installed. Also, the Y seats are the older ones like the 777 with the older IFE system (only 767-300ER type with that, all others are the newer seats/system).
**All retired 6/30/2020 due to COVID-related fleet simplifications

What DL is believed to do is put all flights with 26J as the 76Z Version 2 configuration and then change it to 76Z Version 1 closer to departure as needed. If you select 20-21CDE when it is 76Z Version 2 and it changes to 76Z Version 1, it should seat you in 13-14CDE considering that 20-21CDE doesn't exist on the configuration it changed to. All other seats are numbered the same regardless of Version 1 or 2, although there may be minor differences such as row 20 being an exit row on Version 1.

The Official Delta 767-300ER Interior Mod Tracking Thread

Now that the mods of DL's 763ERs are underway, now is the time to do an official mod tracking thread.

Complete:
N1608

Also, I think one aircraft (not sure which) is currently in mods.

After the recent announcement, I have given up hope for ATH-JFK (Oct) and AMS-MSP (Nov) and am now looking for a schedule change that would set me free of the old 763.

I think those dates are accurate, since DL's blog did state the second aircraft would go into mods the on the weekend after the first aircraft entered service, and the third would go on the 15th.

So, here is my updated list:
Completed (1 aircraft):
N1608

In Mods (2 aircraft):
N1611B
N1612T

Make your adjustments in your OP so folk don't have to search the entire thread for info.

Well, if I keep on editing my OP, the thread will go down the list of threads, and then everyone will have to search the entire forum for this thread to stay informed about the mods.

I would like it if the mods were kind enough to make this thread a sticky, then I can simply continuously edit my OP.

Thanks for starting this! But will you have to change your handle?

Nothing personal, but
1) what makes this thread "official"?
2) this is not stickyworthy IMO.

Well, everyone here would like to know how many aircraft and which aircraft have gotten the mods. After all, the DL 763ER seems to be the most hated international product in the sky, and this thread is to help people know the progress of the mods.

Uh, have you even been on an ex-NW 757 with mechanical BE seats and a hand held entertainment device?

But I still do not see how this thread will help someone to know whether their particular aircraft on their particular day has been modified or not.

I fully understand, but you don't hear as many complaints from them as there are less of them in the fleet compared to the 763ER. The 763ER is DL's international workhorse, thus they get the bulk of criticism for having an uncompetitive product since there are so many of them in the fleet.

Easy, the fact the OP started it.

Out of curiosity, have you ever been on a transoceanic Delta flight? For the sake of the "argument".

You could do both, edit your OP from the individually posted updates, pleasing everyone.

After reading the Delta Blog dated 8/5, it says that the the seating on the new 767-300 will be a 1 2 1 configuration. If this is true, what should I do with my booked seats on a ATL to Barcelona flight that I have seats 3 a,b and 3 e,f on the return?
I'm not flying till May 2012 and there is no way to know if I will get on the the retrofitted birds but will there be the same amount of seats or should I switch to the center row now?

The new configuration has 36 seats, which is the same as or more than the existing 767-300ERs have, depending on configuration. If your aircraft gets changed to the new configuration, all seats will be reassigned so it doesn't matter what you pick right now.
